At long last you see before you the results of years of ocean fare alchemy... A new line of blends created for the enjoyment of the gifts of the sea.
My original Seafood Seasoning is a carefully and specifically selected blend with a hint of citrus, to enhance the flavor of seafood prepared to your liking.
My new Lowcountry Boil Seasoning is full of the aroma of Bay, Celery Seed, and exotic spices from the far corners of the world. It is indeed the secret to the greatest gatherings.
Eat up, me hearties...
Bring to a boil in 5Qt water*:
1/2C Davy Jones Shrimp, Crab & Lowcountry Boil Seasoning
2T Kosher Salt
2 Quartered Lemons
2 Beers (Use 6Qt water if not using beer)
*This should be enough for 4 people, but adjust levels if necessary - refer to per person amounts below
Ingredients (PER PERSON):
3 small red potatoes (halved)
¼ lb. kielbasa, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 ear corn per person - husked, cleaned and halved or cut into thirds
½ lb. pounds large fresh shrimp, unpeeled
Add potatoes to boiling, seasoned water and cook for 15 minutes. Add kielbasa and cook for 5 minutes more. Add corn and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir in the shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink and floating - about 5 minutes. Drain immediately and serve.
Check potatoes for doneness before adding shrimp.
Don't over cook the shrimp!
